Fun filled and full of energy this is a water workout focused on muscle conditioning. It combines interval training with varying challenges for toning and body sculpting, into a goal-oriented program. The workouts are formatted to increase cardiovascular activity as the water propulsion is intensified throughout the body sculpting exercises. Using individual exercise equipment, designed specifically for water resistance, this class offers a workout for all levels of fitness.

Wateraerobics classes are a fun and energetic way to increase endurance, flexibility and muscle strength through exercise using the natural resistance of the water. All major muscle groups are being developed and strengthened. Crosstraining in the water brings an invigorating dynamic to workouts and allows opposing muscles to be in continuous motion. A variety of water exercise equipment is incorporated in classes to add challenge and accommodate all levels of participants. Water fitness improves balance is an excellent alternative for individuals who may have various injuries and/ or limitations. Non-swimmers are also encouraged to attend.

Stroke Fitness is a gentle, low-impact class aimed at individuals who have experienced a stroke or any muscle debilitating disease. The exercises taught in this class are designed to match the fitness levels of the participants. They include stretching, range of motion, balance and posture improvement, socialization activities, and a low intensity aerobic component. It is held in the warm water shallow pool which provides gentle resistance to build muscle strength and supports the body to encourage free movement. Aquatic fitness is an intermediate level stroke fitness class. Classes are taught in the larger pool at a moderate level of aerobic intensity. With guided instruction the participants are encouraged to use a variety of available water exercise props to gently increase water resistance, improve balance, build muscle strength and endurance. Classes meet: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:00AM-12:00PM

This warm water program was created for people with arthritis to keep joints flexible, muscles strong and to help reduce the pain associated with arthritis and fibromyalgia or related conditions. The pool exercises in this class were developed to address the pain, fatigue and decreased strength that often accompany the disease. The soothing warmth and buoyancy of warm water make this program an ideal environment for relieving for arthritis pain and stiffness. The salt water in our shallow pool provides gentle resistance to build muscle strength and supports joints to encourage free movement. All of our instructors are Arthritis Foundation certified and continue to keep current on the latest arthritis certifications.

The exercises taught in this class were developed by physical therapists specifically for people with arthritis or related conditions. This low-impact class is taught in the aerobics room and can be taken either sitting in a chair or standing, whichever is more comfortable. Class levels can be modified to accommodate the different capabilities of participants. The instructors select from 72 different gentle, joint-safe exercises to help relieve stiffness and decrease arthritis pain. The exercises also include endurance-building activities, socialization games, relaxation techniques, and health education topics. Every class is taught by an Arthritis Foundation certified instructor. Although this program was specifically designed for people with rheumatiod conditions the class is open to anyone looking for non and low impact exercise.
